Spine chilling murder confessions that will churn your stomach!

“Murderers are not monsters; they’re men. And that’s the most frightening thing about them”– Alice Sebold.

The quote certainly underscores the dark and virulent shades of a man’s palette. Seeing someone die in front of eyes would be a person’s worst nightmare but what if taking life becomes the source of pleasure or an obsession for someone. Have you ever wondered that what would be in the minds of those savage psychopath serial killers who brutally murdered several innocent people?

Following are some of the most brutal serial killers ever and their spine chilling confessions.

Albert Fish (May 19, 1870 – January 16, 1936):

Fish was an American serial killer, who had been convicted of murdering three people and confessed to rape as well as cannibalize up to 100 people. From his early age, he was introduced to the practice of drinking urine and eating feces. He used to insert needles in his scrotum and fill his buttocks with nail studded paddle for ‘pleasure.’  His method of killing included stabbing with a knife, meat cleaver and a small handsaw. Cannibalism became an obsession for him. He would rape young boys, mutilate their bodies and eat them, sometimes raw and sometimes cook it himself. In a letter to his attorney, he had confessed:

“I put onions, carrots, turnips, celery, salt, and pepper. It was good. Then I split the cheeks of his behind open, cut off his monkey, and pee wees and washed them first. I put strips of bacon on each cheek of his behind and put them in the oven…… So the meat would be nice and juicy. In about 2 hours, it was nice and brown, cooked through. I never ate any roast turkey that tasted half as good as his sweet fat little behind did.”

Gary Ridgway (born Feb. 18, 1949)

Gary Ridgway, an American serial killer, had been convicted of 49 murders and hence had been noted as the most prolific serial killer of all the time. He started killing young women as his ‘career.’ Most of his victims were prostitutes and vulnerable women. He would pick up a woman, have sexual intercourse with her and then strangle her from behind to death. He would dump all the dead bodies at a place in woods to form a cluster and often come back to have sexual intercourse with the corpses. On asking upon the murders he committed, the devil declaimed:

“I don’t believe in man, God nor Devil. I hate the whole damned human race, including myself… I preyed upon the weak, the harmless and the unsuspecting. This lesson I was taught by others: Might makes right.”

The American homosexual murderer had confessed to killing 21 people and performed 1000 rapes and sodomizes. He would often rob men and rape them to humiliate them viciously.  In a confession to the murder of an 11-year-old boy whom he raped he quoted:

“His brains were coming out of his ears when I left him, and he will never be any deader.”

On asking up on reform, he had confessed:

“I have no desire whatsoever to reform myself. My only desire is to reform people who try to reform me, and I believe the only way to reform people is to kill them. My motto is: Rob ’em all, rape ’em all, and kill ’em all.”

In one of his murder cases, he raped a nine-year-old girl, stabbed her to death, and her body was found in the basement of a hotel, hanging from a pipe.

After his capture he had confessed:

“ I love to kill people. I love watching them die. I would shoot them in the head, and they would wiggle and squirm all over the place, and then just stop. Or I would cut them with a knife and watch their faces turn real white. I love all that blood. I told one lady to give me all her money. She said no. So I cut her and pulled her eyes out.”

Insane and Scary!

They are psychopaths, and they are serial killers. They are humans, but they are inhumane. They get a life to ‘get a life.’ They can be anywhere. So watch your back!

The True Face of: Cyber-Body Shaming.

cyber ˈsʌɪbə/adjective

relating to or characteristic of the culture of computers, information technology, and virtual reality.

Body shaming:
Inappropriate negative statements and attitutes toward another person’s weight or size. It can also reach into the discrimination against individuals who may be overweight.

We’re nearing the end of 2016, and unrealistic body standards are still rising. It’s ever so common to hear, experience or read stories and accounts of people who have been body shamed. May it be a male or a female, Body shaming spares none.

Body shaming comes in many forms, in many ways. Sometimes it’s stuble, hidden amidst stares of people passing you by, or in the tone or the words people use to describe your body.

‘Look at you, all covered in cellulite.’.

‘Oh my god, I can see her spine through the dress.’

‘You shouldn’t wear such a dress, it doesn’t suit you.’

‘Aren’t you a little too thin, compared to the other boys. Join the gym. Be muscular.’

‘You’re lucky you have a flat chest, else the deep cleavage of the dress would’ve made you look slutty.’

We’ve all heard of such comments, well most of us. Some have even experienced them.

While it’s obvious to be hurt in these kinds of situations, and it’s our natural response to let it go with a smile. It becomes all the more hard to cope up with when body shaming is not just limited to the world you interact with in reality, but the virtual world as well.

Cyber-body shaming, is a painful experience. You cannot let it go with a smile.

You may face one or two comments about the way you look, or the way your body structure is in the real world. Amplify the same to a higher degree and add some thousands of people to it and what you get is a trauma that completely changes your perception about yourself and your body entirely.

How do we come about this? Why do people consider it ‘okay’ or even funny sometimes to body sham someone?

The answer lies in our very environment, in the society we live in. It’s so normal to see magazines offering tips on ‘how to lose weight.’, ‘how to get a summer beach body.’ And how to hide our ‘imperfections’.

It is common for us to cling on to the misconception that the people we see on the TV screens and magazine spreads are the perfect ones, and that everybody must in order to fit into the structure of the perfect society be like them.

But what we don’t realise in doing so is that, there is no perfect figure in reality.

Though nasty comments about looks are associated with Internet trolls, it can also play with our own minds — particularly adolescents. In a selfie-loving society, it’s not unusual for people to take dozens of pictures of themselves before posting just one image, all to get that golden key social currency of “likes’.

We are teaching our peers and others that we are not okay, unless we change ourselfs in terms of our physical appearance.

There are many good reasons to better yourself in terms of your body, which does in no way relate to you being thin, fat or bulky. Nobody said exercising is bad for your health, as long as you’re enjoying it.

If you’re commenting on a stranger’s appearance, it’s not because you care about their health. You don’t care about people’s health by shaming them.

We think we are flawed because we look a certain way. We try to fit into an impossible structure. Stop trying. Be who you are.

Stop judging yourself if you gain a little weight, or if you are ‘not muscular enough’. You are human, and your worth is not dependent on the number you see on the scale.

And to you, my dear reader. Stop mentally torturing yourself by playing the harsh comments people throw your way on repeat. While we cannot change the way people perceive each other, you can look into the mirror and celebrate your uniqueness.

You are beautiful and enough, just as you are.
